Join us for a City Club Hidden Histories event on the Basque Block. Immerse yourself in the vibrant art, history, and culture of Boise's Basque community with a private tour of the Basque Museum, the historic Anduiza fronton, and the Cyrus Jacobs/Uberuaga House.
We'll conclude the afternoon with a gathering at Ansots, where we’ll enjoy a light dinner of tapas. Dan Ansotegui, owner of Ansots and a key figure in Boise's Basque scene, will share stories about the evolution of the Basque Block and its cultural significance. Dr. John Bieter, historian and co-author of “Arborglyphs – Basque immigrant sheepherders left their marks on aspen trees in the American West” will join us to share more.
This is a members-only event and space is limited. If you’re not yet a member, now is the perfect time to join and take advantage of unique opportunities like this to connect and engage with City Club!
