City Club Forum - Energy, Supply and Demand: An Urgent Economic and Political Puzzle
Join City Club for a conversation with a panel of experts for a discussion on energy supply and demand. What happens to price and availability with high demand for electricity? Can more be done to balance energy demand and supply? What are the service requirements for public utilities? Where do data centers fit into the energy puzzle? How does local government affect energy resource choices? Where are the decisions made about which energy resources are used to supply electricity? Are factors like land use, water supply, wildlife and climate effects given consideration by decision makers?
