Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC).
Nine federal and state agencies call NIFC home, working together to provide essential support for wildland firefighting efforts across the country. These agencies develop wildland fire policy and serve as the national hub for logistics, intelligence, and decision support during wildland fire and other emergency incidents. Our tour will take us through the Coordination Center, Remote Automatic Weather Stations, Incident Communications Division (Radio Cache), Great Basin Cache, Great Basin Smokejumpers, and the Wildland Firefighter Monument.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour moves between buildings across the NIFC campus. A map with meeting location details will be provided on April 3rd to registrants.
