Record number of new legislators? Check. New Speaker of the House? Check. Hundreds of millions of dollars in surplus tax dollars? Check. For casual and professional political observers alike, the 2023 Idaho Legislative session has it all.
To help sort it all out, City Club of Boise will host the annual Pundits forum at the Boise Centre, on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This is our 28th year of providing the kind of insight, observation and analysis on what to expect from the upcoming legislative session.
The pundits:
Greg Chaney, Idaho State Representative (former)
Clark Corbin, Idaho Capital Sun
Melissa Davlin, Idaho Reports
Dr. Stephanie Witt, Director of Training for the School of Public Service, Professor in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Political Science programs, Boise State University
City Club forums committee member Kevin Richert with Idaho Ed News will moderate the discussion, including asking panelists to respond to written questions from the audience.
This event often sells out and you won't want to miss this one. Registration for this lunchtime forum is $35 for City Club members, $45 for non-members, and $10 for just coffee (no lunch). Reserved tables with signage are also available for $550. Tables seat eight guests.
Pre-registration by Friday, January 13th is required for lunch, and recommended for coffee, as this forum typically sells out!
