Forum: Bogus Basin: 80 Years of Outdoor Recreation
In 2017, Bogus Basin General Manager Brad Wilson shared plans with City Club members about a new master plan that had been adopted for the non-profit recreation area. The bold new vision would transition Bogus Basin from a one-season business model, attract thousands of new users to the mountain, and fulfill its mission to engage the community in affordable, accessible and fun year-round recreation and education.
As Bogus Basin celebrates its 80th Season, the master plan is complete - five years ahead of schedule. Brad will share how these changes are assuring Bogus Basin’s future, and also give a sneak peek of what’s next for the non-profit.
Moderator: City Club forums committee member Todd Dvorak, Strategies 360.
