Description

Forum: Contextualizing Reproductive Rights in Idaho After the Dobbs Opinion

The Idaho Supreme Court’s 3-2 decision this January validated the state’s three abortion bans, including one that outlaws the procedure from conception. The Idaho lawsuit followed the US Supreme Court’s June decision in Dobbs that overturned Roe v. Wade. The Forum will address Idaho abortion law from three “professional perspectives,” and will attempt to generate objective discussion of a controversial and critical topic.

 Speakers:

Moderator: Latonia Haney Keith, City Club board member, attorney, and Vice President at The College of Idaho
