Basque Block Tour
Art, history, culture and food—it's the perfect combination for a City Club after-hours event!
Join Adelia Garro Simplot and Edurne Arostegui as they lead us on a private tour of the Basque Museum, then take us inside the historic Anduiza fronton and Cyrus Jacobs/Uberuaga House. We’ll end the afternoon with appetizers, tapas and drinks at nearby Ansots. There, owner Dan Ansotegui (who opened Bar Gernika in 1991, then started the Basque Market, and now makes 750 lbs. of chorizos a month for Ansots' customers) and Adelia will share stories of how the Basque Block came to be.
